Farming is truly a year round endeavor. From preparing fields for planting and pruning in the winter, planting in the spring, tending the fields in the summer and harvesting the crop in the fall, the cycle continues from year to year. Each year is the same yet different from the last. Our vines are impacted by the weather, variations of temperature and rain, both duration and timing. Rain in the winter, spring sunshine, the heat of summer, rain in the fall, it all effects our fruit, how it develops and ultimately tastes. Too much rain early in the fall may impact our harvest. Rain in the spring may impact fruit set. Heat too early in spring may accelerate bud break.

We are in partnership with nature working to produce the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes possible. It is our job to be responsive and alert, to tend our vines like protective parents, allowing them to mature to their fullest potential.

So, here is just a little bit of our year... Begin
